Seton Hall University Men’s Basketball Booster Clublogo

The booster club is a private, nonprofit club dedicated to supporting men’s basketball at Seton Hall University.  The club is not affiliated with Seton Hall University.

Club activities usually include a preseason dinner with guest speakers including players from past teams, University officials and coaches.  The club also makes a sizeable contribution to the Seton Hall radio affiliate Hall Line in memory of our founding president, Ray Lopez.

During basketball season, we usually travel by bus or plane to two or more away games.  We’ve traveled to Seattle for the final four, Chicago, Florida and most of the Big East Cities.  When Seton Hall is in post-season play, we often travel to tournament games to support our beloved pirates.  We stay at great hotels and the camaraderie is something to behold.

2009-2010 Events

Our first event for the year was the Seton Hall Basketball Booster Club Pre-Season Dinner, Saturday, September 26, 2009. This was a great evening and chance to meet Booster Club members as well as other Seton Hall Basketball Fans. A wonderful dinner was served, two of our assistant coaches were present and answered questions about the team and lots of prizes and memoribllia were raffled off. A great time was had by all.

Our first trip for the 2009-2010 season was to the Cornell game, Friday, November 20th. The Club had a great, overnight trip to Ithaca. The trip included bus transportation, overnight accomodations, sightseeing, game ticket and much more. The really good news is that the trip was capped off with a great win for the Pirates. A great time was had by all Pirate fans.

The Booster Club Post Game Dinner will be held at Don Pepe Restaurant in Newark right after the Pittsburgh game on Sunday, January 24, 2010. This will be a great dinner and the guest speaker will be Coach Bobby Gonzales with the Fooch Fucilli as the MC. This is always a memorable event. For details, click postgamedinner.

Our second trip for the 2009-2010 season is to the Providence game on March 6, 2010. This will a two day, one night trip, leaving on Saturday, March 6th and returning Sunday, March 7th. The trip includes, bus transportation, lunch and snacks on the bus, sightseeing, game ticket and much more. For information click providence trip.

When Seton Hall plays in the post season we often travel to tournament games so check back later to see if we'll be traveling again during the 2009-2010 post season.
